2010 was the 10th anniversary of Charles Schulz’ death on Feb 12th. I recall several strips around that time observing the anniversary.

After Charlie Brown fed it so much, the tree became KiteZilla and so began the reign of terror.

I see traditional kits (like the ones I flew as a child), fighting kits (popular in Asian countries), and I guess a dragon kite?

What I don’t see is a box kite. I had one as a kid, and it’s my main kite-flying memory. It flew really high!

WOW! A kite gag here and others in Peanuts and Red and Rover. Coincidence? I wonder.

Has a kite (The toy) ever been attacked by a kite (The Bird)?

And Alice seems pleased, which is the way it should be. Just ask her.
