The way that rain’s coming down, Kate’s going to need a boat.

Or, you see it in time, but the umbrella breaks! (Happened to me once!)

I’m wearing stocking hats indoors this winter too. Doin’ the Floof! All those soft and warm fabrics hold a lot of water. Can’t shake it off like the pups, so a cozy bath robe will just have to do.

Nancy, you do downpour really well.

I used to visit people in their homes in my job. Some of the homes were old and did not have a roof over the porch where I had to stand after knocking. Rain could happen at any time. I am just the right height to get poked in the eye by umbrellas. I got tired of taking an umbrella in and out of the car a dozen times a day. I started wearing things with hoods that I could just pop up when needed. I still do that and do not own an umbrella. I keep a spare hoodie in my car.

If it rains cats and dogs it is going to get crowded there. Maybe they should go back inside for a while. Poor Kate looks soaked.
