I had a sister-in-law who would be engrossed in her phone while watching TV with the rest of us. Every once in a while, she wanted to be brought up-to-speed about the movie. “Who’s that?!? What’s going on?!?”
When I returned to the U.S. in 67, went to a friend’s house and they had a TV, watched it for 30 minutes; that was all that was needed, I was convinced it was a waste of time and have not watched it since; give me a good book.
