Look up HitchBOT. It was an autonomous, solar-powered robot that had successfully hitchhiked across Canada, Germany and at least one or two other countries with the help of kind strangers. They decided to have it go across the USA. It went to a pro baseball game, visited Times Square, blah, blah. blah. …then it found itself in Philly, where it was smashed to pieces and left in a heap. (There’s even CCTV footage of the attack.)

Officer Peabody better hope for a desk job.
