How times have changed. When this was first printed, Peppermint Patty sleeping in class was seen as laziness/lack of interest and a funny joke. Now people on chats zero in on the fact that she’s often alone at night because her dad’s away working, and where is CPS?

Aside from Snoopy, Peppermint Patty has always been my favourite character…

For at least 30 years, sleep science has shown that young people’s circadian rhythms naturally shift to later in the day. Therefore, the start of classes should adjust accordingly—after all, schools are meant to serve students, not just the convenience of teaching staff.

That’s half the battle.

In her defense… most people who are Woke still don’t have a clue what is going on and never did, boy howdy. God Bless America!

Sounds like……..Patty is headed down the hallway to the Principal’s Office to……….fall asleep waiting to be called into the office ! ! ! !!

It wasn’t in school, but I did once wake up shouting, “I’M AWAKE! I’M AWAKE! I’M UP! I’M UP!” My wife had no doubt about my being awake.
