It’s Tuppertime!

My rule regarding leftovers: If you can still tell what it is, it’s still good.

Which Xmas?

The good stuff is gone by the first week of January.

Remember to scrape the mold off so I can make soup for tomorrow!

Because whatever is left goes in the trash.

We’re still working on the last of our Thanksgiving turkey and stuffing.

Always a surprise. Especially if you use opaque storage containers.

I didn’t prepare dinner, so I had no leftovers. I do want, however, to make another batch of fruitcakes!

5 week old food? pass!

It’s REALLY fun on April 1st.

The guys lost their Holiday joy.

What will soon be known as Christmas Heave.

I hope that stuff has been frozen all this time.

The leftover Xmas candy that I picked up cheap on 26 December has sell-by dates in the summer and fall of 2025. No worries!

Still has plenty of fruitcake.

There are never any leftovers in my house after three weeks.

Christmas Season ends on Feb. 2nd, Feast of the Presentation!

I’ve lost my appetite.

My cookies and stuff were gone long ago.

Goose all gone, the clowder made sure of that. Its bones have all been frozen in preparation of going into a soup stock. Dressing all gone. Veggies and other dishes all gone. Even the chocolate and baklava.

The diner were some of us old cronies gather on Saturday morning still has their tree decorated and lit. I’m wondering how much longer they will leave it up. Good food though.
