Several years ago after a particularly snowy winter, I took pics of a dirty snowpile after scraping away some of the dirt. What made it so interesting (to me) was it was on the first day of summer. I had never seen any snow survive that long before.
Sometimes the Sootis even carry away wary shoppers, if they are weak and slow. And yes, Dill, nothing can be done, and nothing is in fact being done.
The snow piles at the shopping plaza I usually go to for groceries are not really that dirty. They have been piled up all around the perimeter, though.

I would watch a Petey made horror film.

The middle panel reminds me of the Night On Bald Mountain in Fantasia. The terror!

Not the grocery carts! They’re so majestic, when you see them running wild on the parking lot valleys, grazing the grey cement and asphalt.
Although, some of them are steered outside their natural habitat, and that can be dangerous.
I guess that’s why they call them steers.
Huh. Who knew?

That is not a Studio Ghibli Soot Sprite as seen in Totoro or Spirited Away.
