Where’s the velvet Elvis?

Since Heaven figures quite strongly in his Sistine Chapel paintings, do we take this as evidence that all dogs go to Heaven?

When you get ‘downsized’ in your elder years, it’s difficult to find a new gig. Sometimes, you have to take whatever is available.

That’s what everyone wants over their head… dogs that have been drinking beer.

He moved to Las Vegas, but missed Venice, so he painted the ceiling of the Venetian.

On the ceiling of the hallway at the Church of the Sure Bet.

I think it means he was no longer in demand and was reduced to painting dogs playing poker.

The hard part is gluing the black velvet to the ceiling.

Re your editorial cartoon: I worked at the Bureau for the last few years before my retirement. The Hoover building is falling apart, but the people were amazing. Yes, there were a couple of mistakes that, IMO, helped trump get elected, but there are a LOT of moving parts there.

It’s a little ruff around the edges.

No one knows this but he actually fell asleep and dreamt of Vegas…
