Only after the Pirates trade him once he’s able to go to arbitration and get more money than the Pirates are willing to pay. THEN he may win a WS with the Dodgers or Yankees.

It’s worth what someone is willing to pay. Strike now while the iron is hot.

“You think that unique, one-of-one, signed Paul Skenes rookie card the 11-year-old boy found is worth a million dollars?”

“Not to me, even if I could pay that.”

Supply and demand. We know the supply: one.

The demand? Pirates fans. Skenes fans. Investors who believe if anything is unique it can only grow in value. As none of the above I wouldn’t pay a buck for it.

Won’t happen. The Pirates will trade him before he can get away through free agency.

The card will never be worth more than it is today. I sold a Frank Thomas signed Donruss card for 750.00 back in the 90s, today is worth around 100.00

It took a complicated 4-team trade to get rid of Jimmy Butler??

Couldn’t they have just shot him out of a cannon or something?

I’ve watched enough “Antiques Roadshow” to know that card may or may not go up in value as the years go by. In fact, it may go way down. SELL IT NOW!!!
