How do you land a hot-air balloon and how come we don’t have one in Grand Theft Auto yet?!

Pedantic alert (skip the rest of this comment)

Hot air balloons require fuel and a burner to remain aloft. The burner is used in short bursts when needed to maintain altitude. Without the burner the air in the envelope cools until it can no longer provide lift. The balloon would have landed itself in less than a day.

At some point the airforce will “help” you down.

Start by turning off the gas…
