Don’t be a wuss, Noah! Reach down and grab their handles and pull them up.

On the other hand, I’ve seen some green alligators, and long necked geese, some humpy back camels and some chimpanzees, some cats, and rats, and elephants, but sure as you’re born, I never ever saw no unicorn

The Lord about to give Noah the sign that he will never flood the world again: " What do you mean the unicorns all drowned! Now what am I suppose to do?"

“The ark started movin’, it drifted with the tideThem unicorns looked up from the rocks and they criedAnd the waters came down and sort of floated them awayAnd that’s why you’ll never seen a unicorn to this very dayYou’ll see green alligators and long-necked geeseSome humpy-back camels and some chimpanzeesSome cats and rats and elephants, but sure as you’re bornYou’re never gonna see no unicorn” (“The Unicorn Song”, by the Irish Rovers)

Growing up in the 60s, I heard “The Unicorn Song,” and I still enjoy listening to it today. But it wasn’t until 1999, when I read the obituary of Shel Silverstein (whose work I’ve also enjoyed for many years) that I learned that he wrote it.
