    First time I tried a consignment shop they said we want things one or two years old and these pants look like you had them in high school. I said I did…and why would I want to get rid of practically brand-new clothing??

    I watched a woman who lost everything in the Palasades Fire, get excited over finding 2 bowls. Another woman cried when she found her wedding ring and the bowl it was in.

    Ironic, as a major suburban Philadelphia aerospace fastener manufacturer burnt down yesterday, losing 500 jobs. My late father was a 25+ year employee of Standard Pressed Steel (known today as SPS Technologies). He was the chief electrician before his 1985 death.
