I woke up mid-surgery at Penn Medicine! They were putting a stent in my right knee via catheter, and they were pulling the catheter out when I woke up. Talk about “level 9 pain”!

So he could pass out again from the shock?

during eye surgery I wasn’t totally asleep but I was still fine, no pain. But half way through, as soon as I felt something I spoke up, “guys, I can feel that”. They fixed it and I woke up when they were done.

“…. but if he wuz, he’d probably gripe about the pain. Better to just show him the recording.”

I had an emergency C-section, thankfully I stayed under during, but my baby did not want to leave the womb. I was told when my anesthesia wore out that she came out swinging, they had to open me up just a little bit more, my little slugger hasn’t changed much since. She’s very stubborn
