Taxing Groceries?

They sell hotcakes at McDonalds. Ironically, they do not sell like hotcakes.

Do they even have a gross in stock? That’s a lot to carry. Did you know that’s a dozen dozen?

Go get the lady a cantaloupe, Berle.

Surprised Berle didn’t offer to check if her cantaloupes are ripe! At which point, Todd slaps him upside his head.

What state charges tax on groceries? The last state I lived in did not tax food. They did tax prepared food like that which you bought in a restaurant or fast food outlet, etc., but food from a supermarket was not taxed. Not even prepared deli food.

Berle takes more breaks than a Kit Kat bar.

In Mexico we still call them hotcakes. Pancakes didn´t stick, maybe because it sounded too much like pound cakes. I remember in Argentina they call them panqueques or panquecas.
