I can see it now, the Mayor and the Highwayman dancing through a field of tulips as they realize their love and joyful future together…

There’s something about panel three that suggests that Rip is planning to take on the Highwayman without the restrictions that being Sheriff implies.

Rip needs to go eat some pancakes for a better perspective. He may not want to help the sleeezy Mayor, but he will save Bunny Hill. He’s a hero, it’s what he does.❤️
