Thank you for your responses yesterday about real-life “Andy Capps”. I saw that a few of them met bad ends. Will that happen to your hero, too??

He’s all fueled up.

During my middle age there was co-ed soccer. I recall one lady on the opposing team having strong pizza and beer breath. I tried to poke tackle but her breath put off my timing.

Of course, no big trucks or buses came to our rescue. Not even a single open manhole.

I’m pretty sure Number 3 still reads the comics. Because of her encouragement I am again donating blood on a regular basis. Yesterday was my first donation this year and I dedicated it to her. Her, Affie and others use to make daily comments. It’s sad that old crowd has, for the most part, moved on.

Actually, past strips have cast Andy as the “resident dirty fighter”—in charge of knocking the other team’s players out of the game

At least Andy makes the match. At night, he’d fall into the canal.

And pukes on the goalie. Yucky ducky.

Andi is beneath contempt. He’s lower than scum.

I’m amazed the man can run in a straight line.

They should have worked Andy into Ted Lasso.

A reminder that Capp does have rules. It is 3 pints before a big match, but 5 before a Friendly. This appears to be a Friendly.

He has the same routine at half time.

Doing that at his age, he’s going to give himself a heart attack.

Andy IS over 100 years old, if we count up…..
