OK, we don’t want to know WHY he’s tired.

Very wise of Arlo. My guess is he’s already been there and done that. Trust Janis to come up with something about the dream she has having. I’ve been in trouble for that before.

They are so married.

The GF whacks me alleging i stop breathing. Very unaware of that and my cat’s said nothing of this.

Makeup sex is the best.

Maybe he needs a spanking.

A spat coming on — But think of the making-up!

Janis will find a reason to worry. I’ve know people like this. Trying to continuously allay their fears is exhausting.

Spouses are funny that way.

She woke up and thought the worst in an unusual situation. Shame her?

On a few occasions my wife has slept in uncharacteristically late and I’ve checked to make sure she is still breathing.

So much fun making up afterward, eh?

I don’t get it. Why would she be mad at him for sleeping longer than usual? I’d think he’d be mad at her for waking him from a good sleep.

I would be worried to. That looks like a very uncomfortable way to sleep.

There have been times my Janis will (somewhat forcefully) shake my shoulder and say my name and then ask if I was asleep. Really!? Just glad she isn’t trying to determine if I am asleep by covering my face with a pillow…

And THAT, right there, is why I love this strip. this is soooo old married couple!

Hanky panky in bed can tire you out, depending on who is the most active (trying to keep this this comment age appropriate. lol )
