Cats ARE weird and it’s why many of us love them

It doesn’t seem like Bucky gets outside much and our indoor cat definitely had a zero-kill record, but our outdoor cat (back when just about all cats were “outdoor cats”) racked up quite a number. In the “10 Signs Your Cat Is Trying To Kill You” thing that went around email a couple decades ago, one of the signs was “When a cat brings a dead animal to your door it’s not a gift, it’s a warning.”

Some years ago, a British sports writer commenting on the state of UK boxing said “If all the British heavy-weights were laid out end-to-end, I wouldn’t be surprised.”
