Just name your dogs Soap and Water. Then you can tell people that your dished are as clean as Soap and Water can get them.

He’s good to let unwanted company see who “conveniently” show up (perhaps at mealtime) hoping to get fed.

Back in the 70s, we were asked by a friends to help them put up an antennae tower, after that, they asked us to stay for supper. When we walked into the kitchen we saw a bunch of cooking pots on the floor with water in them for their dogs. As the lady was starting to prepare the meal, she picked up the pots, topped them up with water and sat them on the stove. We suddenly realised we had forgotten to mention we had been invited to my brother’s place for supper (we didn’t but we also did not want to stick around to see what else would happen). That was a close one.

Gak! If they’re just dating, she needs to book for the door immediately. Heck, even if they’re NOT! As Lucy Van Pelt would say, “Bleah! Dog germs!”

I’m the same way.

Get a human to load the dishwasher once the dog is finished with the dishes!

Hopefully they didn’t just finish eating something, though that would explain the look on her face.

Great way to deal with dishes before washing them. We used to have a little guy who could lick the stain off or stainless. If there was burned on food Popeye would work at it for hours making the final clean much easier.

The expression on her face reflects my reaction exactly.

She’s thinking about the meal they just ate. Never again!

Our dog does the same, we call it “pre-washing”.

Actually, that’s his wage for loading the dishwasher. Is it eww or how far do you trust the dishwasher?

It’s a win-win actually. Dishwasher and food tester/poison detector.

That dog is really earning his keep! Nuff said.
