This reminds me of when I was teaching English in a Korean cram school. All our materials, including end of term exams, were provided by someone high up in the private company that ran the cram school and from which we were not to deviate in the slightest. I was often struck by how little relation there was between the exam and the rest of the curriculum.
The listening comprehension portion of the exam involved playing a conversation and having the students answer questions summarizing the content of the conversation. I bring it up because one term the conversation involved some guy telling his friend that he planned to make his famous burgers at an upcoming party, then proceeding to rattle off a long list of guests who were each bringing one ingredient. He even had someone else bringing the ground beef. I couldn’t get over how strange it was that someone who was excited about cooking his signature dish would let other people procure all the ingredients for him.

Cue all the people who will complain that catsup on a hot dog is an abomination.
Plus those who hate spelling ketchup as “catsup”…

I just noticed something that I’ve never noticed before. The bird holding the TV Guide isn’t Oliver, his name is Olivier.

Hadn’t thought about TV Guide in years. I see it’s a web site now.
If this were today, they’d all have their little phones and be checking to see if there was a signal.

Green meadows is the place to be
Scout living is the life for me
Land spreading out so far and wide
Keep St. Paul, just give me that countryside
In town is where I’d rather be
These campout are scaring me
I just adore a doghouse view
Snoopy I love you, but give me Summit Avenue
The chores,
the stores,fresh air,
Town square
There’s too much strife
goodbye city life
Pup tents we are there.
