I’m into the fourth week of a nasty cold, and feel like I’m coughing up a lung every ten minutes. But the worst symptom has finally left: a fatigue & depression that made every day “not worth living”. I awoke every morning feeling like I’d lost my job and my dog had died; and I’m retired and have no dog.

Watch out, Broomie! That’s the Chaos Butterfly!

Also the first day of Spring is coming on March 20. Ending a long difficult winter.

Yay little Monarch.

Just enjoy.

On a serious note, it is easy to get into this state of mind. If you are ever feeling that down, please talk to someone and get some help.

I used to feel like panel 1 all of the time. Fortunately, I finally got the help that I needed; first from professional counseling and then from rebuilding my faith.

I have found that there are a lot more butterflies in the world when you are open to see them.

My health has been going downhill for a few years…then I had a motorcycle accident, sold said motorcycle…lost my job…told my wife today that I have no motivation anymore…I exist, but I’m not living…No job, no ride, bad health, no joy…just sit and…oh wait..Comics!!! I have joy again, even if it’s for a few minutes!!!

So sweet!
