I gave up looking at my iPhone news feed, and I don’t miss doom scrolling one bit!

Don’t worry. Buttercup and Fluffy will take care of you. With their puppets rooting around in your SS file and your private life, you will no longer have to worry about your 401k. Groceries? Yes. Health care? Yes. Home ownership? Yes. But not your 401k.

The S&P 500 futures look moderately decent at the moment.

Ever notice how the “Prez” never offers a plan for improvement of ANYTHING? He SAYS he’s gonna stop this or that or end something that he says is terrible, but never a new idea or proactive plan for anything in his power. Is it because he uses all his constructive energy for the betterment of his family and friends?

Too many overtrade; the idea of putting your money into a decent fund (e.g. S&P 500) and ignoring it until you retire is often suggested to maximize returns.

“I gave up looking at my 401K for Lent.”

Makes sense. Right now, I doubt that any intelligent banker would lend you anything against a 401K as collateral.

Every Republican/conservative president since 1929 has had a depression or recession, some had two. tRump’s 2nd recession is likely to come by mid year.
