Here, I have some beets and you can have mine.

Now, doesn’t that beet all?

I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes.

Impossible. Everyone knows Norman doesn’t beets around the bush.

The color is all they’ve got going for them. They taste nasty.

The coffee at the motel is like my jokes, strong and bitter.

Norman likes to marinate beef with the juices, or beet his meat as it were.

And the leaves are great in salads.

Don’t eat too many. They turn your stools red. I speak from experience and nearly consulted my doctor till I realised. Saved myself a lot of embarrassment!
