Calvin‘s Dad always had an explanation.

Poor Shawm – now Sirius and Floof have him confused!

Indeed, poor Shawn. He tried. And what a turn that conversation took. So true to life whenever little kids start asking questions.

Poooor Floof. Sirius just seems to have questions. And of course, “Go ask your mother” IS a classic! Go, Shawm!

LOL – yep, when the going gets tough, the tough guys call for Mom!

The dog version of “Go ask your mother.”

Personally I plan to use Floof’s explanation for all future equinoxes.
