When I was much younger, a lot of construction work around here was “pay under the table” or the “self-employed” type. I didn’t get involved in it for one reason or another. 50 years later, I’m on social security plus a retirement and several of the guys who spent their lives working “under the table” are still working because they paid so little into the system they can’t afford not to.

It looks like Cliff’s alter is at least good at something. I have to admit, I barely recognized him when he was wearing that cape!
