Hmmm isn’t it intersting, how when “Others” were in office every little gaff was fair game. But now that our Glorious leader has been annoited and coronated, we must now all “respect the dignity of the office”.

Fish feathers! If he can make fun of his own ears, he’s fair game.

Just don’t say anything negative about his policies or the media will come down hard on you.

Shows how out-of-ammunition Obama’s opponents are when all they can dis him for is using teleprompters all the time - just like little Bushie always did, and that great communicator always did (when he wasn’t pretending he couldn’t hear the reporters’ questions), not to mention both Clinton & Bush Sr. always did.

Using a teleprompter, like every other politician does, is hardly a gaffe. Following on what HerbertAllen said, if this is the sort of criticism they have to use to attack Obama you can expect another 7+ years of him in office.

The remark above is not directed at Stantis, I know he’s just making use of low lying fruit to make a joke. Rather, I’m talking about people who think the teleprompter is a real issue.

So it’s OK to insult, mock, ridicule and create lies about Dubya but heaven forbid any blasphemy about a little joke concerning the curent Mr. President. This isn’t Denmark and this isn’t satirizing the holy muhammed.

Without his teleprompter he taught us we had 57 states and the US was a leader in the world with the most Muslims ( we are #47)

Please continue to use the teleprompter.

Herbertallen and comicsboi: if you really believed what you wrote you wouldn’t have written it. why stop your opponents from making a foolish argument? Obviously, it is striking home as I see liberal complaints every time it is made.

Nailed it in one. The thing is Herbert is that when Obama uses them he looks like he’s watching a tennis match. Yes, politicians use teleprompters, but none have looked as funny. Oh, and the one speech where they made a big deal out of his not using a teleprompter, that is because he had a huge 72 inch plasma flatscreen on the wall behind the press. Obam cannot speak off the cuff, he is a total scripted Pol.
