Transcript:
April: Whatcha reading, pop? John: Blondie! I can't believe the situations Dagwood gets himself into! ...And that boss of his can be a tyrant! Heh heh heh! I've been reading this since I was a kid! -It's been in the paper for 75 years now. April: That's a pretty long time! John: Yep. Longer than I've been around! And even though it's only a comic strip....I feel as though I know these people!

FBOFW has been around for years and as we’re binge reading, nobody will ever get it the attention that she’s given other comics.

I grew up reading the Pattersons, lost track during my Army days in the mid-1990’s, and came back to see “Edgar,” scratched my head thinking, “it’s Farley, isn’t it?” I loved to re-read this entire series every few years.
It’s strange thinking that Lizardbreath is a middle-aged woman now.

I guess that’s why some of us get so serious about the comic- they’re like family!
