I have no guess as to which one will win… They’re both pretty tough.

My bet is on the Bighorn. They go up to 300 lbs. and I’m sure they have a lot more muscle than a Sumo. Besides, he’s on four feet where the Sumo is only on two, though that flooring might be a problem for hoofed animals.

Bighorns go up to 300 lbs? DId you know that sumos go up to 500 lbs and more? Average juryo weight is 149 kg which works out to a little over 325 lbs. Sumos also understand the concept of leverage, which I’m quite sure the ram does not. Sumos also can use their hands to deflect the charge as needed. The only suspense in these matches is as to what would constitute a win.

Human beings are probably the weakest of all animals. A chimpanzee might go a little over 150 lbs. and are genetically similar to a human. Would anyone in their right mind want to tangle with him?

And I’m sure a Bighorn sheep that gets into matches with other Bighorns on mountainous terrain have just as good balance as any Sumo. These matches sometimes last for several hours. How long is a wrestling match? How exhausted would the Sumo be after a couple of hours?
