Maybe Our Cartoonist just didn’t double-check his work carefully enough, and thus Winky’s antlers “mutated” into antennae in his mind. (Or maybe they did so in fact. With Dr. Mel, you never know.)

it’s cool… even though he will drop and regrow the antlers every year and they’ll get bigger every time, he will get a huge surge of testosterone and androstenone every time it happens. Amok Time!!!

And you’re right. The insectoids on my planet ate everything else, antlered or not. And guess what? Your planet’s next. ;)

Who wants normal? I want perpetual regeneration programming and immunity from infections, viruses, and auto-immune diseases.

(For starters, and then I want the TV stations to come in more clearly on my antlers/antennae.)
