The art in these panels is pathetic

I like Traze-R’s face in the last panel. Unfortunately, he looks more human then Dick does.

Mecha-Dick must have gone to the same school for English that Tonto did. Mmmmm, Kemo Sabe.

The robot looks a lot smaller in the second panel. What happened to towering over everyone?

Kind of looks like DT will burst out in song in panel 2. Hope its a good robot fighting ballad. Something like mnmnmnmnmnmnmnnmn. Yeah, thats the stuff.

Tracy was shocked! He had always assumed that Traze-R was the proto-type for any other robots built. Slow, ugly, and pretty much useless. Dick was planning to convert Traze-R into his personal house servant since Tess never took care of the house. She was always running around, working on another of her stupid charities. He couldn’t believe that right in front of him was the toughest looking creation he’d ever seen. “I don’t believe what I’m seeing”! he exclaimed. Robo-Dick was startled by Tracy’s outburst. Was he being rejected, yet again? Tracy felt a sudden surge of hatred towards Diet Smith. After all these years of putting up with Diet’s stupidity he’s rewarded with this creampuff of a robot. Dick deserved a man’s robot. “Where did this OTHER robot come from”? Robo Dick turned his head to face Tracy. He was afraid of this. To think that all he wanted to be doing right now was to be watering some flowers. Talk about your lose-lose situations. A look of sadness crept across his face as he suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of abandonment. He had to force the words out. “Heez evl force I warned of”.

Ah yes … and so stricken was he, that he forgot to ANSWER THE FRIKKIN’ QUESTION! Not that he knows …

If I’ve said it once to you Dick Tracy hating jerks, I’ll say it again! IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE STRIP, DON’T READ IT!!! It’s still better than some of the trash on TV these days.

Is it just me, or does Traze-R look more and more like he has war-paint on every time we see him up close?

DT looks like he is dancing with Traze-R in panel #2. I think they are dancing to the song “Locomotion”.

“This could be a problem. I’ve got six wheels, but I’m rigidly mounted to my base. BF has only four wheels but he’s mounted on a spring covered by a bellows. He’s more manueverable. I could be in trouble here.”

I’ve gotten a bit of a feel for these big mechanical things. Expect mecha-Dickzilla to win if it’s a marathon battle. He’s built tough and can take a beating long after Brute Force is scrap. The first couple of rounds might be BF’s though. Better manueverability could carry the day early on. Six wheels and a rigid mounting are real trouble in a hit-and-run battle, which I suspect is the kind BF would favor.

Yes, I admit to having watched too many robot battles on TV.
