Inspector Lestrade from the “Sherlock Holmes” stories did a better job. He could at least detect that a crime had taken place even if he did occasionally get the wrong guy arrested. So far, all DT has managed to do amounts to looking lost.
Ummm…guys…the “treasure” is all over the floor where the robots are trash-talking (or should I say scrap-talking). How are you going to get it?
“Excuse me, janitor crew here. We’ll get this mess cleaned up. Nothing to see here, officers. Just move along.”
Remember - this is just w/end recap, so that punch isn’t new, only a replay of the original -even the same lame sound ‘effect’ - ‘splink’ - What strip is this, anyway? - Batkid?
Yeah, thats just the same punch, twice. Because if it was a second punch Mech-Dick would have a dented face, right? I know our beloved artist would not forget to draw the consequences of two large heavy peices of metal slamming togehter, would he?
Grokenstein says:
NOSEPICKERS TEXTBLOCK: Remember, goober, that’s nine-one-one. There IS NO “11” on your phone.
Good point, Grok. Heck, there’s not even a “zero” key on Locher’s nine-key phone pads, not to mention “*” or “#” keys! Good thing none of those are required to call 911…
And by the way, didn’t the robots meet up when Brutus M. “Brute” Force got off the elevator in the lobby? When did they go outside?
Wow, another Sunday, another opportunity to move the story along…..NOT.
How did Trazer know what BF/MF did? Is he capable of reading minds? LAME.
How did Braces (and company???, where did that 3rd guy come from?) get outside?
Sadly, Tracy continues to look lost and no doubt wishes he could go home to Tess for a microwaved Hungry Man® Dinner and a nice glass of wine from a box.
Meanwhile, back at the station….
Liz now has her eyes set on Sam who is sleeping at his desk waiting for a call from Tracy. After all, we couldn’t expect Sam to do something on his own. Lt Teevo is now moving into wire taps of Roger Goodell the NFL Commissioner. Apparently there is some master plan to make Al Davis the next Football commissioner. OMG! We cannot have that. Teevo to the rescue! (After he finishes watching the latest episode of 90210).
Diet Smith is currently working on his next invention. Mr. Detective Head.
Wait, I think I may hear Vitamin Flintheart coming to the rescue! He’s bringing in the Bowery Boys!
Oh, and I almost forgot! When you see a fight and you need to call 911, make sure you use your cell phone camera to take a picture. You be on hold waiting for someone to answer forever and you’ll need photographic evidence that you called in something legit. Not to mention that by the time you DO actually speak to a 911 operator and they send someone, all the fighting drunks will be gone…..
Not so fast, Braces! I have a feeling that MF/BF cost you a bunch more than you will salvage from the discs or tapes that are all over the floor at the crimw scene. You might be upside down in this venture. Do the math.
Crimestoppers textbook question: Who are you gonna call when the fighters are two giant robots? Somehow, I doubt that the police have quite enough firepower to stop it… especially when one of the drunken fighters is their own robot.
Second crimestoppers tip: Get aound the corner first before calling 911. Otherwise, you WILL get involved in the fight when these bozos turn on you for turning them in. I’m kinda surprised Locher didn’t think about that.
Two questions: Looks like Locher never had a cellphone. Unbelievable in this day and time. Secondly, howcum Mecha-Dick can pick out evil thoughts from way across town? He certainly must have stumbled across a few others along the way.
Clearly, MF/BF and Trazer were not actually created by Diet or Japan. They are members of a secret alien invasion of telepathic robot creatures. Unlike Transformers, they don’t disguise themselves as vehicles. Humans are so gullible.

Re: Crimestoppers – Are you sure those two guys are actually fighting? Looks more like they’re doing their morning exercises to me!

Ludwig, they snuck out through the giant hole in the wall when we were distracted by trying to make sense of the plot.
