Continuing to enjoy the great artwork and return to the Chester Gould style stories and characters featured in Dick Tracey. Way to go Joe Station and Mike Curtis !!!
I wonder if the Wrist Wizard will be a communicator that uses a 3D holographic projector in that silver area? It’d be great for evidence gathering, criminal identification, etc.
And if Tracy is in a bad situation, he could leave it on the ground to project an image of himself to the bad guys. While they’re distracted by the Tracy image, he swings around behind them and gets the drop on ’em. :)
Obviously the most important feature, judging from the caption, is that it is one size fits all. Forget increased range, memory, and battery life… uniformity of production is where it’s at! :-D
This strip should be running in all newspapers, everywhere. It shows the strength of the daily strip when done right. You don’t have to have days of repitition to keep readers interested and up to date…just tell a great story and people will come back. And even if they don’t read regularly, they still get a great days’ worth of comic strip.
Mike, Joe, how do we get the strip in the papers ? I have been calling the editors (of my local paper), writing letters and emails, and I even sent a petition with 100 signatures to no avail.
The metal remembers its shape. There’s an alloy called nitinol (nickel, tin and I forget what else) that’s been around at least fifty years. Form it into a shape and heat it, and that shape gets locked into its structure. You can bend it and it will return to that shape.
Besides not being able to speak well, I believe his “Memory” is “Self Adjusting” as people have to correct him about what he remembers during the “Stoned Age” as to what is fact and what is fiction.

The Wizard needs a two year Comcast contract, with a substantial penality for early termination. The MCU gets a group discount, I’m sure!

I feel a song coming on:
“We’re off to see The Wizard”!!!!!
Don’t look at that man behind the curtain!!!!
Has anyone else, besides me, having trouble with the emailing of Dick Tracy.
I have Dick tracy emailed to both of my email accounts.
Below the strip where you click on to add comments is blank and all you see is the famous computer world red X.
I have to go to Gocomics web site directly to get Dick Tracy.
Where are you Vista Bill, it is 3:30 in the afternoon your time. I worry about you when I don’t see a comment.
Hope you are well. :)

@barticle35That’s old news – Hallmark has been trotting out Christmas ornaments in July and August for years!
I love the moon joke in Honeymoon’s t-shirt! Will all her wardrobe have ‘moon’ gags? Hope so.
I hate one thing – the GoComics’ colors on the first panel. Too gray and way too dark, spoiling a great panel.

“Self Adjusting Memory Metal Band”
Well, Ozzy Osbourne played in a Heavy Metal Band.
Besides not being able to speak well, I believe his “Memory” is “Self Adjusting” as people have to correct him about what he remembers during the “Stoned Age” as to what is fact and what is fiction.
I think Ozzy could a real life “Mumbles”
