They’re not “insisting”; they just haven’t fixed all the glitches since the huge influx of comics from Comics.com.I WAS encouraging patience but this is getting ridiculous. They DO know, though. There’s a moderator with the username GeneralMod, whose profile I check now and then to see what he’s said lately. He posted on Lil Abner a few says ago when people were complaining about the same thing: “Everyone -I wanted to let you all know that we are working on the legibility issue here. I’m not sure how long it will take to get a fix in place, but rest assured, we will get this resolved. Thanks for your patience.-Mod”
Tried this once when I was a kid. No squirrels, but the rattling of the wagon freaked out the dog, and she ran faster and faster trying to get away from it (and the faster she ran, the more the wagon rattled, and the more she freaked out)…
As SusanSunshine implied, the problem is mostly with the comics that came from Comics.com. Most of the old GoComics.com ones do work correctly even on Sundays.
Actually, seeing it on it’s own page (rather than in list of others) helped. When I first saw it, I thought the squirell was the dog that had run off (and somehow lost the wagon).
I’d rather see Frazz in any size/format than 99% of the pathetic trash that passes for comics today. When the Denver Post dropped Frazz because of low reader interest, I dropped the Denver Post. It reinforced what I have long suspected about the Post, its readership, and its editors.

Who knows? But it’s most annoying on Sundays.

This is the way it looked in the print publications too. At least in the Washington Post.

Where did the wagon go?

the premise will work if you are pulling a dogsled and have more than 1 dog, and they weren’t a saluki/greyhound. because, those greyhounds are quick.

What is the dog’s name, and is he a greyhound?
Stephen Gilberg over 13 years ago
I assume a greyhound. Caulfield would want a fast ride.

I want to see the intro/title panel on the Sundays that often set up or reinforce a joke in the main panels.

The dog is Miss Plainwell’s greyhound, rescued after a dog racing career. Not sure it we’ve been told its name.

I like the ending statement. I also like that Caulfield was more concerned for Mario than himself.
