Susan, yesterday Steve was supporting Richard’s head with the crook of his arm and today Anne has her left hand under his head (seen in panels 1 & 2, implied in panels 3 & 4). So what’s your problem.
And, oh, by the way, shaken baby syndrome is caused when an aggressive action is taken, not when the baby’s head is unsupported while the holder is standing or sitting still.
I remember that episode from Seinfeld … the parents thought their kid was so cute … but all the Seinfeld characters thought it was the most hideous baby they had ever seen. Very funny!

He’s cute as long as he’s quiet…the first ear shattering wails will soon take the luster off…

Babies look like babies when they’re born. Then they start to look like Mom and Dad.

Baby looks supported from my angle Susan, maybe you’re looking at a different comic?

I gotta say that newborns don’t exactly have that adorable, chubby cheeked, giggly look, but they are sweet and cute in their own way.

You have some issues lady … she IS supporting the head, but you just NEED to find SOMETHING to b*tching, complain, and whine about don’t you?

And a well rounded head, like you’d expect from a caeserian (sp) delivery. Very well formed.

Our older son looked just like a gnome when he was born. Two weeks later, he turned into a very pretty baby.

Annie has had a baby before - she should know what newborns look like.
