Sorry, we already didnât vote for a Moron in 2000. And didnât vote for the Moron four years later. I donât see weâre ready for another one now.
Hmm, was Brewster born in Texas?
And no, heâs not due for a good idea. The strip is how old now, about five, six years? Heâs off by a good decade and a half for a good idea⊠:-)
For almost 8 years, month after month, year after year, I watched Bush and Dick drive this country into the ground. And whenever I complained about it, people like you would always say âSupport our Presidentâ.
Itâs already been established in earlier strips that Brewsterâs frequent brain probings have turned him into a blithering idiot MOST of the time. He is intelligent on rare occasions, and I think we can all agree that makes him more qualified than anyone weâve had in at least the last couple decades.
âYou must be one of those folks who thought he made a brilliant choice three years ago. Thatâs why youâre still talking nostalgically about the âmoronâ you didnât vote for in 2000 and 2004 instead of the moron youâre responsible for electing.â__You must be one of those ⊠âfolksâ who thought that voting for the same incompetent, inept, intensely boorish and rude moron (and his paid pack of PNACers) twice â and finding some (!) way to âplotzâ his sorry butt in WH was a âreally bright moveâŠâ __I didnât⊠I didnât⊠I donât⊠and I never will.
I didnât vote for the current president because he was too conservative for me. Still is. I voted for the Socialist Party candidate it â08 (no, not Obama) and fully anticipate doing the same in 2012.
The latest President (of the Galaxy, remember) was Zaphod Beeblebrox, whose job it was to keep everybodyâs attention off the characters who were actually running things and lining their own pockets. Sound familiar?

I wonder if Brewsterâs campaign ads will have Herbie Hancockâs âRock-Itâ playing in the background.

It is pretty obvious that we cannot trust that job to anyone that would actually want it.
