Dingdingding! We’ve got a winner!Three comments in, and we’ve jumped off the rails and into political snarking!Come on, people let it go for one day. Today’s strip isn’t about politics. Take a break and switch to decaf.Funny strip, Wiley. I’ve done that one myself (although not on such a grand scale).

Measure it with a micrometer, mark it with chalk and cut it with an axe.

“Dangit! Cut it twice and it’s STILL too short!”.Of course, in the software industry we’d just look at something like that and say, “That’s not a bug—it’s the new Boat Launch Feature!”

Don’t lengthen the drawbridge, shorten the moat.

In this case, it’s cut twice: cut off the head of the master carpenter!!!

According to an analyst, the bridge is at 50% capacity, so it is still half good.

I looked right in front, mulled over the adviceAnd then for good measure, I measured it twice

I thought I was done, but I measured once moreAnd then with a vicious swing, I let it roar

Oh the horror, I froze, my friends yelled foreThis is a stupid game, I so totally abhor

I cut, I fade, I hack, I miss, I push, I sliceNo matter how much I measure, I never will be precise

Raise it up, turn it into a ramp and get the General Lee and well, at least you’d be able to get out!

Only athletes are allowed to enter the castle. It’s either a decent long jump or an easy pole vault.

I think someone had it right when they said separation of church and state, but I’m just not sure as to the reference, I’m sure that’s it a classic Wiley double sight/slight gag.

Oh the Majesty of it. Reminds me of “Beagle 2” To Mars. Great mission on paper. Someone forgot to mention that the rule of measure was Metric not Standard. Guess what it either missed Mars and still flying on into the Cosmos or it crashed, Ooops!
