I suppose there’s no comic strip without Bucky, but this can only improve his personality.

Satchel is always such a good person, throwing his own doll out the window, asking permission to go out, being a good friend to Bucky. Although I doubt Bucky will ever appreciate him, even after this. Maybe especially after this.

The first panel is by far one of the best drawn and thought out panels in recent comic history. Conley is a true artist. And Satchel’s peering around the corner of the wall in panel 2 is priceless!

Well of course the bat wings didn’t work…….they were DEAD…..so Bucky ended up in a “catsplat”. Somehow I think he will find a way to blame it on Satch.

I knew this would work because the wings weren’t nearly large enough.

I’m betting Satchel will pick his doll up out of the puddle first and then drag Bucky in.

Looks like Bucky landed in an OWIE sorta way. Satch’s gonna have to scrape him up with a spatula.

And Satchel DID express concern for his doll. It was in yesterday’s strip, and even before he asked if Bucky was OK. The dog’s definitely got his priorities on straight.

The way the first panel is drawn, the perspective makes it look like it was a first-floor window anyway, so probably no life-threatening injuries….

I feel better now that we know it’s a first floor window.

I can tell from the first panel, that it is only about a 3 foot fall. If Bucky gets hurt from that, he needs to turn in his cat collar ASAP.

Wow, for a minute there I was going, “Oh my gawd! Bucky shoved some little kid out the window!” Then I realized I had missed yesterday’s strip. Whew.

Panel one is priceless. Everyone aligned just right. Love it..Rob is not unconcerned. Its that Satchel is too polite. Rob has no idea of what grand thing Bucky has attempted. ..Hope the pet insurance is up to date.

I was checking to see if anyone else noticed that Bucky and the doll are lying in the same positions. Well spotted.

Oh, and Bucky’s ears are askew in the first panel. Priceless.
