The songs they’re listening to:Pig: On the Good Ship LollipopGoat: She Blinded Me with ScienceCroc: Crocodile RockZebra: Help!Duck: Ride of the ValkyriesStephan: Cartoon HeroesRat: Money (That’s What I Want)
Beautiful satiric tribute to the late Steve Jobs! Sherlock,I like your suggestions, except that I wasn’t familiar with Cartoon Heroes until I looked it up on YouTube just now.
To jfkpj: What trouble receiving go comics? My mac has never had that problem. To codedaddy: Jobs was a human being, not a strange being from another planet who fights for truth, justice, and the American way. I suspect you are right about the idolizers having never met him. I miss him. Great tribute Stephan.
Amen Stephan. I would dance to the rest of the Apple catalogue too. Growing up before the computer age, these marvelous gifts are still magical to me. There may be no afterlife to RIP in, but Steve will live in our lives for a long time to come.
By the way, it’s also a nice tribute to Jules Feiffer’s dances to spring etc. All about gratitude and fond appreciation.
Thanks folks. I seriously had no idea what Steve he meant until I saw the comments, even though I recognized the iPod commercial reference. Don’t really see the point of a Steve Jobs memorial strip, but can’t think what else it would mean.

@Introverted Fool “Real heroes are leaving us in Silence”.
Jobs was a marketoid, and his marketing wizardry pays off after his death. Without Denis, there would be no Jobs…
R.I.P. Dennis Ritchie…

Fabulous tribute, Steph! And Sherlock, ; ) I think Croc would add “In Heaven There Is No Beer” to his playlist.

Try a left click on the strip. Works for me.Jobs was an interesting personality. Those who are idolizing him, however, have very probably not met him.

Now you know why I am not paying for the “Pro” account that they lent me when Comics.com was bought out. What advantages? Where?

Steve Jobs was good at marketing other people’s ideas. I doubt a single Apple product was actually invented by him. Kind of like Edison.
