Some of the shows on TV bring up questions and then try to answer them. But to give an example of error, I watched a show about ancient Egypt that had an ancient Egyptian in a storage room walking across ears of corn. They didn’t have corn until after 1492 at least. So when it comes to shows on string theory and such I just take it as entertainment.Watch some Neil deGrasse Tyson videos for the best in learning entertainment.

Particle is the right word. We did those wave/particle experiments way back in high school physics 5 decades ago.

“in some esoteric quantum “thingy” Earnest is right” Of course Earnest is right- point a flash light at a singularity and that black hole will be ALL down hill for the light beam/wave/particle.

I gave up trying to understand physics years ago.Somehow I get the feeling that every time we think we’ve got a handle on “Reality”, it just goes “poof” then re-appears somewhere else to laugh at us.

well for scientists not say nothing is faster then light has always been an assumption even though they would never tell you that.
