Peter: I'm surprised you haven't started playing that new Star Wars MMO yet. Jason: As a purist, I'm holding out until they add ewoks and gungans and endless talk of midichlorians. The way it stands right now, I find it hard to believe George Lucas was even involved with the game. Peter: I can't tell if you're serious or kidding. Jason: I hear you can even shoot first if you want! It's heresy, I say!

What happened to the iFruit?
kenwarnerfordictator almost 13 years ago
Star wars fans are ALWAYS serious, bro! They are like Trekkies. It’s a religion. In fact, I think they are the same people!

SW:TOR isn’t available on the iFruit. PC onry. Even then, Jason should stick to Skyrim.

Not sure if serious…

SWTOR, is quite addictive. Even though, one needs a tricked out PC (no mac version yet).

Dear Sweet Potatoes: The Foxes upgraded their old iFruit a few years ago… to a newer model of iFruit with LCD panel. And since almost six years ago Macs switched to Intel processors converting them into fancy PCs that also run Mac OS X. That means that there are several ways to run Windows programs on a Mac, both alongside the Mac applications or (if all the performance is desired as in some games) by double booting into Windows. So if you really want to run Windows (or Linux) software on any modern Mac you can do it very easily and legally. The other way around… it’s sometimes possible but usually harder. Jason is a computer wizard who obviously knows all the above and would not be stopped if he really wanted to play a PC game on his iFruit.

Jason, it’s a game, so deal with it.
Miba almost 13 years ago
I’m not playing it cause they shut down Galaxies which makes the new MMO hardly any better than the old since the stupid clueless n00blets will drift over tor ruin Old Republic now.

I believe it’s Trekkers not Trekkies

Are Star Wars fans Star Warriors? Probably Jedi Knights.
Ernest Lemmingway almost 13 years ago
If Jason is waiting for those things, he’ll never start playing! Gungans are a joke that BioWare avoided in the Knights of the Old Republic games and SW:TOR, Ewoks are still three millennia away from being discovered in TOR’s time setting, the “M” word was denounced by Lucas himself as a stupid idea and is not canon to the Expanded Star Wars Universe, and of course Lucas didn’t have a hand in the making. So long as it meets LucasArts’s standards, it’s fine.

The only computer games I play are Chess Titans and solitaire.

You can tell he’s from the new generation because had he been purist enough to watch the originals he’d have known that in them Han really did shoot first

I thought Jason would be into Lord of the Rings Online (MMO) since all geeks LOVE the Hobbit and LotR books… actually, anything Tolkien.

Love it!

I may have turned down numerous requests to watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars (the Dave Filoni one, not the Genndy Tartakovsky one), but I’m interested in this MMORPG. If I get the $50, the bandwidths, and the money for the monthly fee, I will become Twi’lek Jedi Knight Pry-St-Ro-San.

Ha ha this strip rings true. A friend of mine just saw Red Tails and after griping about the cheesy dialogue and kiddie themes, he said I HATE GEORGE LUCAS!!!
