Where does Calvin get all the snow for all the snowmen?

i never could build a snowman that looked like a “snowman”. i’m impressed that he could build a whole row of them.

that little Calvin sure has a lot of stamina… I tried to do 5 snowmen(the whole family) and only got to 4!

I love Calvin’s snow art. Give that boy an NEA grant!

The kid has ingenuity, you gotta give him that.

Dad thinks it ‘snow’ good!

He should have put them in front of a local police station. The police would be thrilled and they’d call his dad to ‘thank’ him.

i also think that it’s amazing where calvin get’s all that snow. there aren’t any spots of grass showing on the whole lawn. another question I have—how does he lift up the middle section and the head to get them in the right place when he’s barely as tall as the lowest section?

Calvin isn’t good at routine tasks, but for a special message like this one, he’s all dedication.

My Dad would have had me working in a mill or some field real young if at 5 yrs old I could have figured how to lift that snow to make such beautiful snowmen,but thats why I love Calvin.

I’d like to see Calvin having his snowmen doing the “PledgeOf Allgiance” out by the flagpole in the front yard. That would be great too! Calvin builds the best snowmen I’ve ever seen…

Making all those snow goons made me realize that Calvin has the energy level of Hoover Dam…

I think his dad feels he’s being mocked.

I can’t imagine why Calvin’s dad would hate this. After all . . . he’s being given a 6-snowman-salute!!!!! That’s real respect if you ask me!

This was a great strip, and there were a lot of really funny comments today.@Commentator explained todays strip the best.Regarding the whole “Where did Calvin get all that snow” question, think of it as “Comic strip physics” or simply, Calvin didn’t build all those snowmen, Bill Watterson drew them.

I know why Dad hates that!! He doesn’t like being embarrassed OR he doesn’t like it to look like he is a snowman army trainer.

A sign of respect from Calvin is rare enough. Take it as it looks, rather than as it was intended!
