GSOH= Good Sense of Humor. And I would take MaryAnn over Ginger because she was way better looking as well as way more fun.

Yay, Puddles is back for a guest shot. Bernice, for all the glamor mags she reads sitting on Luann’s bedroom floor, NEVER has looked sexy. No makeup, no lips, hair trigger temper, caustic wit.

Yeah, but those girls are obsessed with being pretty and are really annoying. It’s rare they are actually nice.

I think Luann is already funny, the facial expression in panel 3 was actually funny.

How does Greg have such detailed (and probably very accurate) insights into the private conversations of teenage girls?

Frame 3 is so meta-something. More than a simple shift in perspective, the image is flipped, so that whereas in frames 1 & 2, Puddles and Bernice are on Luann’s right side, in frame 3 they are on her left. I think that’s why there are so many comments discussing what men want and what women want, and what men and women think the other gender wants.

Maybe ‘Kneeslappers’ by Calvin Klein might help.

Actually about Tina Louise (Ginger), They told her she was going to be the star. As for the reunion show, she did not want to be on it period. That’s why the big salary demand. It was not going to be met.

A magazine is a kind of periodical. It comes out periodically. According to dictionary.com, “periodical [peer-ee-od-i-kuhl] noun 1. a magazine or other journal that is issued at regularly recurring intervals.”

What’s that TV ad? Pretty is what you are, beauty is what you do with it.

Ginger in real life was so much prettier than they made her up to be on the show. I was always a Mary Ann fan but Tina Louise really was gorgeous.

And the reverse spin on this is what girls want … Luann does not want Gunther, who would throw himself under a bus for him, even with Rosa in the picture. It’s best, though, that Luann doesn’t yet know how cute she is … she’ll find out soon enough!

My X was distinguished looking but got me because he was very persistant and I was very young (married at 21 in ‘59). After I divorced him I met a really great guy who is great at fixing just about anything as well as being very accomplished in what really matters ;-P and we are still great friends. I’m no good and making jokes or even being funny (as those who know me will attest), but I enjoy his company and we have always had great times. I think too many “modern” couples are based on things like “Real Housewives”, but when I was married, I tried to be like Donna Reed ;-D

And yet I laughed. This brings us to the vitally important question as to who has the better sense of humor, the one who can sense the humor even in stupid jokes or the one who can oly see that the jokes are stupid?

Luann and I have a sense of humor, the only difference being that she’s imaginary. Agnes has no sense of humor, but is funny even though she’s also imaginary.
