“And if you still don’t get the idea, we can create a Flash video showing the knob being turned and the door being swung inward.” (Stupid organics and their need to have everything spelled out for them, given in dittese.)
We can see old-time muses: The decorative lamps! The old keyhole that uses Mechanics, not amps The proprietor’s door (For that must be his place) Is a portal to more Than just some other space For inside is the mind That created this ship There’s a force of some kind That has given the slip To what gravity pulls Back to dusty, dead Earth I would bet this “old” hull’s Equal to gold in worth. =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 And for Doc Rat, too The Endtown Forum And don’t forget to nominate both For Ursa Major awards!
Both a great artist and a storyteller… only one thing about it is that it never seems to give away anything, sure it looks like dittos but somehow I imagine that someone is controlling or leading them around. Sure Sparkplug have encountered these and lived together with them but,,, something else is going on here… I don’t think Sparkplug would save a transporter, perhaps only to save flask but that would not make sense!
By the way, there are only a few days remaining for nominating in the Ursa Major Awards. Nominations close on Feb 29. http://www.ursamajorawards.org/nominationsMake sure Endtown gets in the ballot for BEST GRAPHIC NOVEL.It’s a bit more involved than voting on the Best Webcomics. You have to register and than insert a key code that you will receive by e-mail. The good news is you only have to do it once, and the ballot can’t be stuffed by tricks. It’s worth it, for Aaron’s sake. Nominate, to get Endtown on the ballot. Then in March, vote for it.(I can’t get the link embedded in my comments. Level Head can.)
Unless Sparkplug’s been somewhat cured of his delusions, it doesn’t smell like him. Then again, he did seem to have snapped in two different ways first trying to kill Al and Gustine, then saving them… Argh, suspense!! (And Jenner? that last pun HURT.)
Hey, anyone else notice the plant? Is it just me, or is this the first plant (potted or otherwise) that we have seen in the entire comic? (I could be wrong about this point, but still very interesting detail…)
Bill: there was a plant in “Gustine’s quest”, in fact the plant was the reason for the quest. Also Endtiwn has been working towards self-sufficiency, and that includes hydroponic growing…

They may be finding Nemo, or a post-End equivalent. If that’s an airship, though, it’s more likely Robur.

Sure looks like the Captain’s cabin to me. Do I detect a hint of Mr Roberts with the palm tree?

I finally get it. This strip is much easier to follow if I ignore the comments. It was that which was giving me the headaches.

I’m betting that it’s Flask behind the door!

@perceptor
I saw Flask in the 2nd panel. She’s quite subdued and keeping her mouth shut.

Fourth panel gave me a proper chuckle. This is one of the few strips I genuinely look forward to after the weekend.

So Flask showed up… Wonder how her eye is feeling. She’s better off staying quietly behind everyone…
