Wow! Suddenly your math grades are better than mine!
LIN-li has been helping me, That kid is sober good at math!
You shouldn't go around saying that.
Its not politically correct.
are we talking politics or math? Im confused.
Iâm outta here.I could stand the âpopular screensaversâ and the âcartoonify yourselfâ popupsBut now I get messages, badly translated, claiming I have errors on my PC and inviting me to download some software that would solve them⊠yeah right! Bye.
@Nefa. If youâre still there.. First.. clean out your cash and temp files. You need to update or install a virus protection software like avast or avira. They are both free and work. McAfee and Norton are too cumbersome for most systems. Others have their opinions. Do some research on other steps that should be done to get rid of the malaware/virus you picked up at one of those bogus popular screensaversâ and the âcartoonify yourselfâ sites. I am pretty certain you didnât pick up any bugs from this site.
⊠EVERYBODY with an AD PROBLEM âŠ(ok, this might get me banned, so bear with me)USE FIREFOX â INSTALL âAdblock PlusâExtremely effective at stopping maybe 95, 99 percent of the pop-up and other advertising. I use it, and I get zero advertising on GoComics, as well as most other sites I frequent.Recognize that itâs this advertising that pays for this website, so if everybody actually took my advice, theyâd have to go out of business. But GoComics and others should recognize that if they didnât make those ads so damned intrusive and annoying that we wouldnât find it necessary to block them.
Considering the vast array of names available for parents to name their children â Lin Li could be the first name and Jones the last. Or anything else.
Also @nefa â will get popups here (like Netflix), but not what youâre describing â your machine is infected. Like others have said, get AVG, AViRA, or if youâre running Windows, Microsoftâs Security Essentials, all effective, reasonably low overhead, and free. Norton is much improved and has low overhead compared to pre-2008 versions, but isnât free, and McAfee is a resource hog still. Ads about âyour computer isâŠâ are always bogus, and usually a sign of infection with malware â you canât get that information from browsing a website.
What is incorrect about saying a person is super good at math if she is? The incorrectness would be in ASSUMING that sheâs good at math because of her nationality. Jo-Jo didnât say that. Could be that he asked her simply because she gets the best math grades.

I never get any popups. I donât think itâs the cartoon, but I agree with Jo-Jo. Political correctness confuses me, too.

Loving Bennyâs observation that stating a fact can be highly politically incorrect.

We now live in a wimpy society where it has become impossible to say anything about anyone without offending someone. We need more Don Rickles.

Nothing politically incorrect in that statement.
Lin-Li IS super good at math.
Now, if it was implied that such math skills were related to gender or ethnicity, such incorrectness might exist.
