Referring to one’s adversary as “dog” is strictly out of 1001 Arabian Nights and does not lead to one being taken seriously as an evil genius. It is seen as cartoonish, especially when coupled with a laugh right out of a parody of some silent-film era melodrama. (Refer to L’academie des Sidekicks Comiques, Dishonest John, class of ’49, or Snidely Whiplash, class of ’59)

Thanks David! But I am getting worried that the only Annie we may get to see is her occasional crossover into the revitalized Dick Tracy strip. (Warbucks is woven into the current story line)

When the powers that be finally ‘fix’ the problem, they’ll probably put ALL the missed ones on at the same time.

This is what I wrote today, excuse the typo: “I’m sad to see that Little Orohan Annie has not moved on. One of the reasons I subscribe to Go Comics is that strip. What’s up with this? Please bring her back!”

According to a banner at the top of the page this afternoon, they’re unleashing a new, improved gocomics starting Monday.

Nothing has been updated today. A sign of things to come?

And in that secret fortress, in a dark corner, there is a stirring. A malevolent creature stirs. Disturbed from it’s resting. Time has ceased to move forward from Dec. 11. It is Clovis-Rex. The ultimate menace to a certain web site. Clovis-Rex arises and starts on his journey. The roaring crashes the wall in front of him. Daddy Warbucks and Annie, startled by sound, suddenly realize what it is. Theu also know that they cannot battle Clovis-Rex by themselves. They will have to call Alvin, his wife, Suzi, Hobbes and Bacon. Emmy Lou will also have to be called. Celeste from Sherpatown will also get a call.Everyone will be needed to battle Clovis-Rex who is on his way to gocomics headquarters to wreck havoc on those who have not updated the comics or put a way to access the old section. Everyone must battle Clovis-Rex to prevent the destruction of the cities between where Clovis-Rex is now and gocomics headquarters. Clovis-Rex is on his way.

Well Good Morning DavidF42 and gang. Yes, I too am undergoing withdrawal pains concerning Annie. BUT now I am seeing that NONE of the cartoons have been updated for 1/12/17. They used to update about 1:30AM (Eastern time) and by the time I saw some strips, they were filled past the 3rd page. But it is now 7:38 AM and I hope this doesn’t become the standard as I won’t see anything after I lever for work.

I fear many may not even know yet how to access these comments. I finally went to FAQ and discovered it. Wished they had given us some “training” before the new launch not after.

It looks like we’ve seen the last of Annie — no updates since 12/31/2016

This is ludicrous because everybody who saw Annie abducted, virtually ending the franchise, knows this strip goes on for years.

(sigh) STILL no update. Here’s today’s Annie!

Clovis-Rex has looked around. Spaceman Spiff and Hobbes have arrived. Clovis-Rex immediately eats them. Then, looks around and says, “Going to gocomics headquarters isn’t worth it. It’s just a computer and nothing there to eat. I’m going home to mess with Robert the Plant. He’s more tasty”. And with that, Clovis-Rex flies away to his home.

YEOWK! I just realized Friday the 13th comes on a Friday this month!
