Privacy is a ting o the past.
Think about it. Everybody has a "smartphone"
which is nothing more than a tracking device when ya think about it.
"big brother' is friending.
I don’t have a smartphone, just a phone that mkaes calls and texts…I don’t need endless apps, a GPS system, and directions to get to the “cool” restaurants. I have a laptoop, and with all the free wi-fi out there, I just use that.
Check your phone again – even if it doesn’t have a GPS app, there’s a very good chance your phone has a GPS tracker in it “for 911 purposes”. So long as people hold the attitude that Smartphones are just tracking devices, they will be used accordingly. Pay attention to the politicians. Stand up and tell them know. George Orwell would.
That’s why I resurrected my Palm Pilot – it does most of the things a smart phone dies except make calls and track me, and since they’re all but obsolite, I can download all the apps I need for free from legacy software websites.

If that’s the case, I’m glad I don’t have one.

It’s just a question of who is the smarter — you or the phone.
Most of you are toast.

My cell phone is some dumb and so old, it has a dial. Some of you are too young to know what that is.

To the previous posters, all current phones have built in gps or agps tech so you can be tracked just as easily, so don’t feel left out ;p

I remember when Mom turned in my first cell phone to get a better one. The man behind the counter looked at it and said, “What is that?”
