I understand, Lila. I have elicited similar comments, though often made with a sarcastic sneer….just because I am so completely and utterly easy to amuse…. ooh look,it’s raining! uh..what?
H.P. must be a Shattner or T.Z. fan. Unless you’re referring to another story. I guess I didn’t think of what they’d call the furry creature the Shattner character shot. I flew to Germany once and missed seeing the Atlantic both trips: cloudy and night time on the way there, and I sat in an aisle seat on the way back, and was too entertained by chatting with the German folk to care to get up to look at the ocean. Saw the Great Lakes though.
me too and I am 59…scariest flight ever landed at Long Island thankfully…sure looked like the plane was headed out over the atlantic though…made me long to take amtrack back home…
OK, so we’ve established that all 3 made the flight. Now remind me, is that Alan or Boyd with Annie and Lila? I like looking out the window when there’s a storm! Unfortunately, these days, they don’t fly through them, but above or around them. It’s a shame because flying through a storm is so exciting.
I’ve flown regularly for the last 35 years and I still love the window seat. I am shattered to have to give it up for the aisle seat now that there’s not enough leg room and elbow room even for a petite woman like me.
Well, I’m glad Annie made it on the plane! Which reminds me, who won the contest yesterday??I used to like the window seat, but after weaving in and out of buildings to get into National Airport in DC, it’s too close to comfort for me!

Looking out of the window just reminds you how far you have to fall.

Rhm, it’s Alan… Boyd has dark hair, works with Lila, and is single…and broke.
Alan lives with Dr. Fine, and is paying for the trip.
Diogenes, what you’re doing is spamming. Stop it.

Window seats are good! When the crash happens, a large hole will appear in the fuselage, and you just walk out through there…
