Um, where’s Eddie?Toby, what have you done to your little brother?

Oh, come on, people. He probably just put a load of laundry in the dishwasher.

Now, now… the secret to this kind of gag is that everyone gets to jump to a personal conclusion of what’s funny. I myself assumed he’d have loaded it with whatever fell under his gaze between his starting point and the dishwasher itself- the sorts of things that wind up in the floor (socks, shoes, dog toys) and things that wind up on low shelves, tables and counters (books, bills, kitchen implements, dishrags, you get the idea)

You might have something funnier in mind, just for you! A memory of a sibling putting something weird in a dishwasher? Cool! Personalized humor.

And if you assume he stuffed a wriggling brother or pet in there… well, okay, but between friends here? You might want to discuss this cartoon with a licensed therapist. A laid back one with a cool office, I assume.

I love this gag as my kids used it for years – Is your homework done? Yes. I mean is it completely done, ready to hand in, teacher acceptable, on time done? Oh, I thought you meant is it as much as I’m going to do it for now (which is nothing), done.

I wish I had a dishwasher – it would allow me to safely wash my baseball caps. ..Morning Folks!
