In January 2012, a cow in Cacak, Siberia, gave birth to a calf with purple tinted fur! Sehr lecker! Germans of the world's most enthusiastic chocolate eaters- consuming an average of 25 pounds per person every year! A leopard gecko can voluntarily detach its tail to distract a predator. The tail can remain alive and wiggling for up to 30 minutes!

Whoa, the Jerries have beaten the Swiss record of annual chocolate consumption per year?
And that ability is not unique to geckos. All lizards can drop their tails and regenerate them.

Hmm, speaking of German chocolate and purple cows, is Milka aware of the Serbian cow? Not too far away from the Alps on which Milka bases its cow & chocolate…I never saw a purple cow.I never hope to see one.But I can tell you anyhowI’d rather see than be one. – Gelett Burgess – 1895

I always thought it was the British who consumed the most chocolate. Hmmm. But I guess you’re right about the Germans. My pen-pal in England says they eat a lot of chocolate. She sends me Cadbury chocolate, including chocolate covered Turkish Delight. Mmmm!
