From the look on Liz’ face, I don’t really want to see Attitude after all!

It’s POSSUM DAYS!Let’s all go to Lester’s Possum Park to celebrate! (grin)So everyone, what strange celebration do you have where you live? I suppose ours would be The Slug Queen and The Eugene Slugfest (Now called the Eugene Celebration).

I won’t ask where his teeth are coming in!

I like how they don’t even pretend to hide their disgust…I think the only place you’ll ever see Attitude’s face is in your own imagination.

Oh, what kind of trouble are they heading into?Will the Mumbles Quartet be performing at the celebration?Toon in tomorrow!

Lizz’s expression is completely changed from yesterday’s cheerful look; much the same for Pat and Sam. Attitude must be quite a sight! Nonetheless, Happy Possum Days!

Sparkle was a beautiful child from the start. It would be fun if Attitude became beautiful in later years.

i’d take a homage to the superboy comic from years ago where kon was stuck in some backwoods farm somehow and forced to marry one of the ugly sisters. they kept talking a bout how god awful ugly their brother was and he was forced to walk around with a burlap sack on his head to cover his face. when it came off he was almost the spitting image of lil abner lol.

Lizz don’t get your fingers too close. You may pull back a numb!!!!

All of these expressions are truly a Kodak moment.

The baby can’t be that bad. They had Sparkle and look how beautiful she was.

I guess Attitude proves not all babies are beautiful!

The Beverly Hillbillies also celebrated Possum Days.

Teeth ? The " expressions " are classi !. Lizz bracing for the bite, (on the bottom lip?), Sam’s that quickly forgotten super kiss, Patton controlled disapproval and Gertie’s - reflecting what only a Mother could love ! ?

Well, if you could be throwing a hatchet around at 3 weeks old, by now, you should be running circles around all those gatthered at HQ

Don’t leave out Tracy’s expression. He really takes everything in stride, and is sincerely happy for the Plentys. We have a moose dropping festival up here. True story, some nutty group down south actually thought they were dropping moose form helicopters. Life here is different, but not THAT different.

Writers seem to be copying from the TV program – the one where the neighbor peers over the fence and all you ever saw was the top of his head.

Joe was at the top of his game today. From every expression down to every finger, just perfect. I really love Lizz’s look.

Lip aside today, it seems that the individual doing the coloring isn’t aware that Lizz (and her dead sister - Julie Marrlin 1956) were both originally BLONDES (?)The BROWN tinge every day seems " pre-arranged " -Just like Mr. B’s ’ rolled-up ’ shirt sleeves noted yesterday !.

To the best of my knowledge, Lizz is a natural brunette with green eyes (they are rather pale today). She has had her hair brown, blonde, and black in past strips. Shane currently tends to give her brown or red highlights on the Sundays.

Of all the regular characters, Lizz’ looks have gone through the most changes, an ongoing thing.She dyed her hair back to blonde in 1980 to go undercover to trap Art Dekko, and she wore it that way into 1981.

I’m predicting a “Downwind Jackson” future for Li’l Attitude—-I think it’s more fun that way!
